John Legend Unveils Video for ‘Bodies on the Floor’ Featuring Clipse

John Legend has unveiled the official music video for ‘Bodies on the Floor’ featuring Clipse, released October 26, 2026. The track appears on his twelfth studio album, Muse, which arrived October 23 via Republic Records. Legend, an EGOT recipient with 13 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Tony, and multiple Emmys, has built a multi-platinum catalog since his 2004 debut Get Lifted. Muse is his first full-length collaboration with Pharrell Williams, who produced and co-wrote every track, with recording sessions held primarily at Williams’s studio at Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris. The album fuses gospel, classic soul, doo-wop, Afrobeats, and hip-hop, blending orchestral textures with modern rhythmic elements.

The music video for John Legend’s ‘Bodies on the Floor’ (featuring Clipse) unfolds as a cinematic, monochromatic spectacle, capturing the explosive unraveling of a romance on the brink. Stylized choreography and electrifying action channel the spirit of classic marital-warfare films like Mr. & Mrs. Smith and The War of the Roses, transforming the relationship into a battlefield. Hunter expertly contrasts the raw, visceral chaos of domestic conflict with sleek, spotlighted performance moments. Legend pours his soul into the hook at the piano, while Clipse (brothers Pusha T and Malice) stride into the scene, unleashing their verses as the drama intensifies.

The release follows previous Muse visuals for ‘Daylight’ and ‘Fireflies’, and extends the ongoing collaboration between Legend and Clipse, which began with his feature on ‘The Birds Don’t Sing’ from their 2025 album Let God Sort Em Out.
